Delivered by Creative England’s Filming in England, and kindly hosted by The Hot House in MediaCity, with further support from the Production Guild of Great Britain, Filming in England Connect: Greater Manchester Industry Mixer aims to unite regional crew, supply chain businesses and local partners across Film & TV.
Our quarterly, regional networking events offer a unique opportunity for local networks to connect, form alliances, and thrive. By promoting job creation and best practice, we celebrate the brilliant content produced in the North West and champion the local talent and businesses that are essential in creating a vibrant production hub in the region.
From Sky’s Brassic and Netflix’s House of Guinness to AMC Network’s upcoming The Talamasca, these are just a few of the many productions that have recently called Manchester and the North West home.
Come along and hear about the differing initiatives and opportunities supporting the Film and TV sector in the region! You’ll find Hot House in the big glass building on the Piazza at MediaCity.
Please note: Live photography will take place during this event.
Filming in England has a zero-tolerance policy towards bullying and harassment of its staff and attendees. We take all complaints seriously and will investigate any allegations thoroughly. Anyone found in breach of this policy will be asked to leave the premises immediately and may be prohibited from attending future Filming in England events.
The Open Centre (Hot House) at MediaCity is accessibility friendly.
We have ran Industry Mixers at the S.S. Great Britain in Bristol, The Bond in Digbeth, Shinfield Studios in Berkshire, Imperial War Museum in Greater Manchester and Sky Studios Elstree in Hertfordshire. We’ve partnered with Bristol Film Office, Film Birmingham, Create Central, Hertfordshire Film Office and Screen Berkshire – and have been joined by some fantastic sponsors at our events.
Want to sponsor one of our Industry Mixers? Learn more about how to get involved by getting in touch with Filming in England’s Film and TV Partnerships Manager, Hannah Macleod:
